Impressions of Xcode 27

At Kommunity’s AI Connect events we discussed the AI features that ship with Xcode 27.

Apple keeps developing these features with a developer-first approach. Compared to other tools, it shows the steps the models take far more transparently. It backs this up with persistent documents. You can use it with most well-known models and agents. Thanks to ACP support, you can also plug in third-party AI tools.

One of my favorite features turned out to be its access to up-to-date documentation. Other tools can reach these documents too, through the Xcode MCP.
